This product is a UHF asset tag; the 13.56 MHz HF PCB component is a separate product family.

Compare a ceramic tag if the available footprint calls for a more compact proposal.

Provide the metal surface dimensions, curvature, nearby edges and the proposed tag orientation. Include the actual coating and fixing method when testing reads at the required working positions. Check adjacent assets as well as the intended asset. The on-metal designation identifies the application; the finished board and its installation still need to match your reader setup.

3What identification data should I specify?

Send an example of the asset record and the EPC format expected by your system. Select the actual chip before requesting optional user data or locking settings, then read back a sample file through the intended software. If staff also need a larger printed serial number or barcode, compare the printable on-metal label format.

No. This page covers UHF EPC Gen2 on-metal asset tags. The separate 13.56 MHz HF PCB component uses a different reader interface and is intended for its own integration projects. Specify the reader model before selecting the product family.

Can the rigid PCB tag be mounted on a curved metal surface?+
